A New Gourmet Snack Coming Soon!

Yes, YOU are hearing it first! I have been working on an exciting new project since the new year and am happy to say that I am just about ready to launch a new product! Over these past few winter months I have been down and dirty in a little Research & Development. Nearly taking up residence in my test kitchen. The baking, baking and baking has finally paid off. This new product will be available to preview early spring with a full unveiling on May 1st, 2009!

Along with this new product all of the York Harbor Baking Company's gourmet snacks will have a brand new look! Stay tuned to this blog for sneak peeks of the new packaging! Maybe, just maybe I will be sending all my friendly blog followers a FREE preview snack! But you must send me your mailing address to becky@yorkharborbakingcompany to get your Snail Mail Snack. (Plan on snacks being mailed in April.)

Let's Start Thinking Summer In Vacationland!

The York Harbor Baking Company will be heading to the Market! Starting June 7th-Oct. 11, 2009 (9AM-1PM) you can find us at the Gateway Farmer's Market located at the Greater Yorks Region Chamber Visitors Center (Junction of Rt. 1 and I-95: Exit #7). This is very exciting! Here's your chance to meet some of the many farmers, bakers and crafters this coastal area has to offer! Some advice: Come early! The good veggies, baked goods and crafts go fast!

So as the days get longer and nights warmer the York Harbor Baking Company is staying busy preparing to see all of you at Market!

I am very happy to say that the York Harbor Inn (480 York Street, York Harbor, ME) is now carrying the York Harbor Baking Company line of products in their gift shop! Stop by the Ship's Cellar Pub or their restaurant, 1637, for a glass of wine, a beer from their Maine-made beer selection, and stay for an incredible dinner! It's hard to believe that it is November already! Autumn is such a wonderful time to be in New England. There is so much change in the air. From gaining that all-important extra hour during the day (did you remember to turn your clocks back Saturday night?) to the changing of the leaves to putting away those summer clothes and airing out all those sweaters.

Harvestfest 2008

Harvestfest 2008 has officially come to an end and I would love to thank everyone who stopped by the York Harbor Baking Company booth for the launch of the company! I was so pleased to have so many visitors! Thank you!
